In the afternoon, setting off towards the Huallaga River with stops at major points of scenic interest en route Arrival at PumaRinri Lodge and swimming at the riverside beaches of the Huallaga. Dinner. Sleeping overnight at the Lodge.
Third day / Breakfast. Trip to the Pucayaquillo waterfalls or, if circumstances do not permit, to those of the Chumía. Lunch. In the afternoon, return to Tarapoto, transfer to the airport and departure.

First day / Reception at the airport and transfer towards the Huallaga River canyons with stops at sites of special ecological and scenic interest en route, also seeing the tobacco plantations for the cigar industry. Arrival at the Pumarinri Lodge. Dinner and sleeping overnight.
Second day / Breakfast. Setting off towards the native community of Chasuta in order to embark on the Huallaga River to view the cocoa plantations at the Island of Shilcayo and a sugar mill (processing sugar cane). Return to the Lodge and lunch. In the afternoon, a trek through the jungle to the Pucayaquillo waterfalls, viewing the Amazon rain forest and identifying forest and medicinal species, etc. Return to the Lodge, dinner and sleeping overnight.
Third day / Breakfast and setting off towards Tarapoto to visit an experimental cocoa farm. Arrival at the Hotel Río Shilcayo, accommodation and free time to enjoy the swimming pool and gardens. Lunch. Visiting the premises of Mayo S.A. to view the production process for cocoa and chocolate making. Dinner and sleeping overnight at the hotel.
Fourth day / Breakfast. Setting off towards the town of Lamas, where we will be visiting a coffee plantation and the town's native quarter (Wayku). Return to Tarapoto, lunch, transfer to the airport.
The outlined programmes include: transfers, lodging, meals, sales tax on services and excursions. All prices are per person and are based on double occupancy. There is a supplement for single occupancy of S/.35 per night. There is also a 25% discount for children of 3 to 12 years old.
